Executives from Google, Groupon, the Los Angeles Dodgers, and MLB Advanced Media, among other companies, will speak at the upcoming Ticket Summit® conference and trade show, to be held July 11-13, 2012 at Bellagio in Las Vegas, NV. The conference will include a variety of roundtable discussions, panel sessions, and workshops focused on providing industry insight and business development resources to attendees.
Mike Lorenc, head of industry: ticketing and live events for Google, will speak in a workshop titled Hangout with Google! According to the Ticket Summit® website, Lorenc will “give a live demo of the latest in advertising and social media technology that can help boost [a company’s] business presence online.”
Greg Rudin, who manages the joint venture between Groupon and Live Nation Entertainment, will speak on the Make it a Bundle! panel. Make it a Bundle! will cover “the latest on customer trends, and the avenues for partnership [that] are available to combine tickets with travel, dining, and more.”
Other panel sessions, such as Sports Meet and State of the Box Office, will offer insight into the ticketing and live entertainment industry. Other speakers include David Siegel (Los Angeles Dodgers), Doug Lyons (Tickets.com), Dr. Stephen Happel (Arizona State University), and other industry experts.
