Up-and-coming female artists will be taking the United States by storm this October. The United Kingdom’s British R&B/pop singer and songwriter Rita Ora, of West London, England has teamed up with female Australian performers for a brief five stop tour. Joining her on tour are DJ Havana Brown from Melbourne, Australia and Iggy Azalea, a hip-hop influenced rapper from New South Wales, Australia. Fans can expect a performance with out of control vocals that makes them feel like they are at the greatest dance party of their lives.

The brief tour takes off on October 23 at the Yost Theater in Santa Ana, California. The girls will stop at The Regency Ballroom in San Francisco, California on October 24; The Mid in Chicago, Illinois on October 26; and The Trocadero Theatre in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on October 28, before finishing up with a final performance at the Highline Ballroom on New York, New York on October 30.

It will be Rita Ora’s first experience headlining, and she is hoping to put on a show that can prepare the country for the upcoming U.S. release of her debut album “Ora.” A date has not been scheduled yet for the stateside album release, but “Ora” has already hit No. 1 on the U.K. charts. The success of her singles from the album, “Hot Right Now,” “How We Do (Party)” and “R.I.P.”, have made her the first artist in 2012 to have three consecutive No. 1 hits on the UK Singles Chart.

Ora has been nominated for the Best New Artist for MTV’s European Artist Awards, which will take place on November 11 of this year in Frankfurt, Germany. Earlier this year she toured with Coldplay, and was a featured artist on MTV Unplugged. Her hit single “How We Do (Party)” can be heard on pop stations across the country, and her following in the states seems to be growing rapidly.

Havana Brown is a DJ, songwriter and singer who originally got into the music business working with the musical group Fishbowl in London. Her success has grown through regular performances and jobs at concerts and parties. She has performed with popular artists including Britney Spears, The Pussycat Dolls, Lady GaGa and Rihanna. According to Billboard, her debut dance/pop single, “We Run the Night” featuring Pitbull allowed her to breakthrough in the U.S., and quickly made its way up the charts.

Iggy Azalea, a native of New South Wales, Australia who moved to Miami, Florida at the age of 16 to pursue music, got recognition when some of her freestyle videos went viral on YouTube in 2011. Her debut mix tape, “Ignorant Art” was released online in late 2011, and she is currently working on her debut studio album.

A lot is expected of all three artists during the brief U.S. tour. Fans are in for an upbeat night of fun, with lots of volume and amazing dance performances. Tickets are currently on sale, however due to the small amount of shows, dedicated fans may have to travel quite a bit to see them perform.
