Well-known comedian and ventriloquist, Jeff Dunham recently announced dates for a 2012-2013 Disorderly Conduct Standup Comedy Tour. Dunham’s brigade of puppets will join him on the road for the long tour beginning at the end of November and continuing into early 2013. The tour will bring Dunham to audiences across North America.

The Disorderly Conduct Tour is set to kick off in Lethbridge, Canada at the Enmax Centre on November 1. Dunham is scheduled to stop at six other venues in Canada before heading to the United States. The U.S. portion of the tour will start at the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort in Mount Pleasant, Michigan on Saturday, November 24. The tour will make over 40 stops across the country before wrapping up at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas on Sunday, April 14.

There are numerous notable stops along the way; some venues are large while others will make for a more intimate evening. Locations include Caesars Palace Coliseum in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 13, the Cumberland County Civic Center in Portland, Maine on January 11, The Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on January 25, the World Arena in Colorado Springs, Colorado on March 9 and the Reliant Arena in Houston, Texas on April 10.

Dunham used his puppets to create a distinction between himself and other comedians. Joining him on stage will be the many characters that have helped to make him who he was. His official website explains that each character has a personality all their own, “There’s Walter, the grumpy retiree; the beer-swilling, NASCAR-loving and resolutely red neck Bubba J; the furry and manic Peanut; José Jalapeño, the spicy pepper from South of the border; the bumbling skeletal Achmed the Dead Terrorist; the almost as dead long-lost son of Achmed, AJ; and Peanut’s own ventriloquist dummy: Little Jeff. They may have all been conceived and hand crafted by Dunham, but his characters, who are anything but dummies, have now taken on a life of their own, each with their own legion of fans.”

TFL and ATBS for ticketing professionals

PRweb.com notes Jeff Dunham “…has mad a name for himself by performing colorful and witty shows that poke fun at all cultures and facets of society.” His big break came when Comedy Central began featuring him on their television network.

According to Dunham’s bio on the his official website, “His television specials and series have been the highest rated programming in Comedy Central history, his DVD sales have reached seven million units, his videos have received a half a billion views on YouTube, and his live concerts have become mega-events played in front of sold-out arenas worldwide.”

Tickets for the event are on sale and available to the general public now. With such a large tour on his calendar, Dunham is expected to deliver an incredible show with tons of laughs and lots of audience participation. Every night of the tour is projected to differ, but if Dunham’s performances are anything like those in his past, fans will not be disappointed.
