KIIS FM, a Clear Channel Radio station has announced that its yearly Jingle Ball event will expand to two nights this year. The hit radio station announced that the event is set to take place at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, California on Saturday, December 1 and Monday, December 3.

The popular holiday event has drawn such a large crowd in past years that KIIS FM has decided to expand to two nights of performances. The event will not be on consecutive nights however, giving the staff a day to recuperate after the first night of performers.

“KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball 2012 will be the must see event of the holiday season and we’re thrilled to end the year with two full nights of star-studded performances for KIIS FM fans,” said John Ivey, Senior Vice President of Programming for Clear Channel Radio, as reported by AllAccess.com. He further explains that, “Music is the heart of our station and what better way to celebrate a great year in music than with two nights of this year’s hottest artists.”

The first night of the event will showcase Taylor Swift, Ne-Yo, Ellie Goulding, OneRepublic, and the Wonder Girls with special guest Akon. KIIS-FM’s website also hints that a surprise superstar band will be performing. Justin Bieber, Ke$ha, Flo Rida, The Wanted, Afrojack, Owl City, Psy, will take the stage on Monday as well as a special acoustic performance by fun. for the event’s second night.

KIIS FM’s famous radio personality, Ryan Seacrest will be hosting both nights Jingle Ball 2012, accompanied by other radio personalities from the station. Clear Channel has also hinted that multiple celebrities will be in attendance and making guest appearances. Fans can expect exclusive interviews and lots of fun over the course of both nights.

With a long list of today’s biggest stars, Jingle Ball 2012 is expected to be huge. Taylor Swift’s newest album, Red will be available to the public in stores this month. Red will be her forth studio-length album, including songs such as “We Are Never Getting Back Together” and “I Knew You Were Trouble.” In the past few months, she has been on the cover of Rolling Stone and Glamour Magazine and has been nominated for numerous music awards in both pop and country music genres.

Justin Bieber will be taking a detour from his Believe tour to headline not only KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball, but three others in Philadelphia, Boston, and Rosemont, IL. Bieber is out on tour promoting the release of his fourth studio album Believe which has already produced hit singles including “Boyfriend” and “As Long as You Love Me.” Last Friday Bieber released a video for his newest song “Beauty and a Beat” featuring hip hop star Nicki Minaj and the video has already reached more than 36 million views. Following his holiday concerts Bieber will return to his Believe tour on January 5 from the EnergySolutions Arena in Salt Lake City, UT.

KIIS FM Jingle Ball 2012 is presented by G By Guess and in part by Coca-Cola, Chevrolet and Extra. Tickets for each night of the event can be purchased separately, and are expected to sell out quickly. With two nights, double the amount of fans will have the chance to attend this year. A VIP pre-sale will kick off on Friday October 19 at 10 a.m. to members of the KIIS FM Club. Tickets will go on sale to the general public Saturday October 20 at 10 a.m.
