“Making music for our fans is the best job in the world,” Lambert said in a press release about the tour. “It’s especially great being able to take that music on the road with someone I respect as an artist and human being. This will be a tour of ‘epic badassery.'”

The tour will support both artists’ most recent solo studio albums. Miranda Lambert released “Four the Record” in November of 2011. Her album debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 Chart and climbed to No. 1. “Four the Record” also won the Academy of Country Music (ACM) Award for Album of the Year. Dierks Bentley released his most recent album “Home” on February 7 of this year. This is the sixth full-length album he’s released in his career as a musician. “Home” debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200.

In the same press release, Dierks Bentley said, “Some of my favorite times on tour over the years were with Miranda and her crew. We have a lot in common musically, and our fans do too. It’s going to be a killer year.”

Lambert is a Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter. She is also a three-time winner of ACM Female Vocalist of the Year.

More information on the Locked and Reloaded tour is expected to be announced in the near future.
