The Avett Brothers will certainly be keeping busy this year with the announcement of their North American tour that will be kicking off this fall and stopping in several cities throughout the U.S. and Canada. Following a packed summer of music festival appearances and concerts, the band will be hitting the road for the first stop of the tour on September 8, in Montreal, Canada. The tour will last through November 22, where it will conclude in Chicago, Illinois. Some noteworthy stops on the tour will include Cleveland, Ohio, on September 20, Los Angeles, California, on October 9, and Vancouver, Canada, on October 17. The band will be supporting it’s 2012 Grammy nominated album, The Carpenter, and according to radio.com, the band has also stated that they might have a new album ready as early as September or October of this year. Tickets for most dates went on sale last Friday, June 28.
