The Black Crowes will be playing four concerts at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York, on October 18-19, and 21-22. They have just announced who will be joining them for the shows, and fans seem to be very excited. Justin Townes Earle, Dr. John, and the Blind Boys of Alabama are just a few of the names mentioned for the opening acts. The band has also said that they plan to go acoustic and feature Oklahoma’s John Fullbright on the first to nights, and then Justin Townes Earle for the two remaining shows. After their four nights in Port Chester, The Black Crowes will be taking the stage in New York yet again for four more shows at Terminal 5, in New York City, on October 24,26-27, and 29. This lineup will include special guests Ray Wylie Hubbard on October 24, The Blind Boys of Alabama on October 26, Dr. John & The Night Trippers on October 27, and Maceo Parker on October 29. The Band also announced that this would be the last chance for fans to see a show in the “foreseeable future.” Each member is currently working on solo projects and they have no plans for any tours in the near future. Tickets for shows in New York will go on sale August 23, at 12pm local time.
