Summary by Dean Knightly, TicketNews:

Phish recently announced that they will be going on tour this summer. Starting off in New Orleans towards the end of April, the “jam-rock vets” plan to tour from coast to coast. After kicking off the tour at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, the group plans to end it with their fourth annual Labor Day performance/stay in Commerce City, Colorado. The group prefers to tour in the summer because, as Phish’s own Trey Anastasio explains, “The whole gang goes on tour, so there’s maybe 10 kids. It’s like a big caravan, and we all go out in the summer because right now that’s what works for us. It’s really fun – everybody’s backstage.”
