Canadian dance-punk duo, Death from Above 1979, have announced that they will release a new album and embark on a fall world tour. The Toronto-based band has not released an album in over ten years. The new album will be titled The Physical World, and will be released September 9 on Warner Bros. and Last Gang Records.

The tour will kick off the weekend of September 6 at Riot Fest Toronto in the band’s hometown of Toronto, Ontario. The duo will then travel to Europe and the UK for 12 stops before returning to North America. The band will spend a month touring the United States. Notable US stops include Nashville, Las Vegas, Chicago and New York.
