In conjunction with a new album release, Foo Fighters have announced a North American tour in 2015. The tour will kick off on the Fourth of July with a performance at RFK Stadium in Washington DC, and will wrap up on October 7th in Memphis, TN.
Royal Blood and Mission of Burma will open for certain dates, with Royal blood performing as the opening act for many of the shows in July and August, and Mission of Burma opening for one of the band’s shows in Boston. Openers for the rest of the tour have yet to be announced.
This will be the band’s first major tour in support of their new album Sonic Highways, which was released last week.Tickets will go on sale Saturday.
