It’s not yet officially fall, but it certainly feels like it. Spots No. 1, 3 & 5 today went to the US Open Tennis Championship, currently underway in Flushing, New York, and wrapping up this weekend. No. 2 went to the Canelo Alvarez vs. Gennady Golovkin fight next weekend in Las Vegas. Beyond that, though, football took over half of all spots on the Market Heat report on this post-LDW September morning.

A popular game for weeks has been that between the Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers next month at AT&T Stadium, which took No. 4 today. The Cowboys show up again at No. 12 for a game versus the Giants, and the Packers again at No. 15 for a game versus the Falcons.

College football accounted for a few spots today, as well. The Georgia Yellow Jackets and Tennessee Volunteers kicked off their season yesterday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, which came in at No. 11 on today’s list. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish took Nos. 10 & 16 for games against the Georgia Bulldogs and USC Trojans. Another popular college team, Alabama Crimson Tide took No. 13 for an away game against the Auburn Tigers.

A few remaining spots went to a Hamilton show in Atlanta next summer, U2 & Beck this weekend in Minneapolis, Bruno Mars at The Forum in November, and Billy Joel later this month at Madison Square Garden.
