Ticketmaster France has appointed a new head of music, Charlotte Broutin. She is a former employee of their rival operation, France Billet.

Head of comms Cédric Blondel says that Broutin’s arrival at the company comes at an exciting time in its growth. Ticketmaster France, formerly Ticketnet, is increasing its share of the ticketing industry, up against rival ticketers Fnac’s France Billet and Vivendi’s Digitick. While Ticketmaster reigns as the top choice of the mainstream consumer, France Billet competes through its dual online platform and national chain of music stores, and Digitick with its hold on the alternative market, like electronic and hip-hop shows.

François Thominet, president of Ticketmaster France, believes that “Charlotte Broutin’s contribution will enable Ticketmaster France to accelerate the continuous growth of our activities in the concert and festival markets while offering French promoters the best customer support and new services.”

Broutin herself notes that: “This is a moment of great transformation and opportunity in the ticketing industry in France. I look forward to working with the team to help shape the future of Ticketmaster in France, and I am extremely excited to join the leading global player in ticketing and entertainment.”
