NYC Broadway Week is back, this year offering 2-for-1 tickets to 19 Broadway shows between January 16 – February 4, 2018.

The highly-anticipated bi-annual promotion includes some huge hit shows like Chicago, Hello, Dolly!, and The Lion King as well as exciting newcomers SpongeBob SquarePants, The Parisian Woman, and John Lithgow: Stories by Heart.

Other offerings are Aladdin, Anastasia, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, A Bronx Tale, The Children, Farinelli and the King, Kinky Boots, Latin History for Morons, Once on This Island, The Phantom of the OperaThe Play That Goes Wrong, School of Rock, and Wicked.

“With the variety of shows currently on Broadway, including long-running favorites, outstanding revivals, and brand-new productions that will delight family members of every age, there is truly something for everyone to enjoy,” commented Charlotte St. Martin, president of the Broadway League, in a statement. “We are proud to partner with NYC & Company on NYC Broadway Week, and we look forward to welcoming patrons this winter to experience one of the best destinations in all of New York City—Broadway.”

Launched in 2011, Broadway Week was designed to increase ticket sales during typically slower periods of attendance during the winter and fall seasons. The initiative has cumulatively sold more than 1,128,000 tickets tickets, generating nearly $77 million in revenue for Broadway.

The 2-for-1 offer also includes the option of upgraded seats, where seats those closer to the stage and/or with a better view than regularly priced seats are priced at 50% off the original ticket price, plus $20.

A number of nearby hotels and restaurants are also partnered with The Broadway League to provide discounts during the promotional period.
