With one of the hottest tickets in the marketplace right now, Elton John and his management are wasting no time to draw out his multi-year “retirement” – announcing a dozen new dates to the “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour in North America.
The new dates range from October 9 at Long Island’s Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum through March 16, 2019 in Sunrise Florida at the BB&T Center. Some are new cities for the tour, which begins in September of this year and stretches for more than 300 dates across every continent save Africa and Antarctica before concluding in 2021.
According to Ticketmaster, the Elton John ticket prices will range from $58 to $248 for the performances in primary sale, though VIP tickets will likely fetch far greater prices for those who don’t get a chance to snag one of the high demand standard seats, however many of those are even available to the general public.
American Express presale for the new dates begins on February 8 at 10AM, with VIP packages available as well at that time. Fans can also try their luck by registering for tickets through Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan system, though the initial onsale left plenty of disgruntled fans airing their grievances on social media.

Tickets have been flying off the shelves for the Rocket Man’s final go, as the global superstar’s fans are eager for one more glimpse of his work as he passes through. He also has a number of dates at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace and two dates in Shekvetili, Georgia prior to the farewell tour’s kickoff at Allentown, PA’s PPL Center.
