The Rock & Roll Express Tour is taking off this summer with co-headlining acts 3 Doors Down and Collective Soul, along with special guest Soul Asylum joining the bands at select shows.

The tour is set to kick off on July 6 in Atlanta, Georgia, and continues across the country throughout the summer, wrapping up on September 16 in Phoenix, Arizona. Additionally, the duo will perform at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort in Cherokee, North Carolina for The Better Life Foundation Concert on October 27.

“Soul Asylum, Collective Soul and 3 Doors Down, that’s a big night of hits!” 3 Doors Down lead vocalist Brad Arnold said in a statement. “I’m looking forward to hopping on the Rock & Roll Express this summer, gonna be fun!”

Collectively, both bands have sold over 40 million records worldwide. 3 Doors Down are best-known for their early 2000’s hits “Kryptonite,” “When I’m Gone,” and “Here Without You.” Their most recent record, Us And The Night, dropped in 2016. Collective Soul’s 1993 rock anthem, “Shine,” is still one of their top hit tracks to date, along with singles “The World I Know,” “December,” and “Heavy.”

“It’s going to be an exciting summer!”  Ed Roland of Collective Soul said. “Not only are we going to be out with a great band, but also some great friends. I look forward to seeing everyone come out and rock with us, 3 Doors Down, and Soul Asylum.”

The Grammy Award-winning group Soul Asylum are a pleasant addition to the tour, with success from hit albums Let Your Dim Shine and Grave Dancers Union, which features the 1994 Grammy Award-winning song, “Runaway Train.”
