Rockers Shinedown and Godsmack have teamed up to co-headline a 30-date tour this summer, bringing head-banging tunes across the country in support of their upcoming records.

The tour is set to kick-off on July 22 in Clarkston, Michigan, and cross the U.S., making stops in New York City, Massachusetts, Texas and California before wrapping up on September 2 in Wantagh, New York. At select dates, the bands will be supported by the New Zealand natives Like A Storm, or the Ohio-based rockers, Red Sun Rising.

Both artists are touring in support of new albums, set to release prior to the tour. Godsmack’s 10th record to date, When Legends Rise, will drop on April 27 from BMG, and Shinedown will follow shortly after with their seventh studio album, Attention, Attention, due May 4 via Atlantic Records.

“It’s all about impact, and making a statement,” Brent Smith, Shinedown lead singer, said in a statement. “We are creating a show for the fans that is powerful, passionate, and sonically inspiring. The audience has given us a platform to be ourselves, and create something spectacular. That being said Shinedown and Godsmack will most certainly not let them down. This will be the rock and roll event of the year. In other words, ‘it’s about to get heavy!'”

Sully Erna of Godsmack says the band goes “way back” with the members of Shinedown, so the tour will surely be a “must-see.”

Tickets went on sale March 23, including special “Ticket To Rock” bundles, which offers fans the opportunity to see rock artists perform live in their area throughout the summer at a low cost. Check out the full list of tour dates below.
