Legendary rock act Steely Dan has announced a slew of headlining tour dates this fall, including a nine-show residency at New York City’s Beacon Theatre.

The band, led by Donald Fagen, will hit a few stops pre-residency; their first date is in Richmond, Virginia at the Altria Theater, followed by shows in Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Baltimore, and Bethlehem. The New York City residency will run from October 17 to 30.

Throughout the residency, Steely Dan will perform different full albums, based on the night. They are set to play Royal ScamCountdown to Ecstasy, Gaucho and their 1977 hit record, Aja. Some nights will also include songs of “Popular Demand” as well as a set of their greatest hits. The three other albums, Katy Lied, Pretzel Logic, and Can’t Buy A Thrill, are excluded from the residency, which is common for the band to skip.

Since Walter Becker died in September of last year, the band is left in Fagen’s hands. Fagen will perform his 1982 solo debut The Nightfly during two nights at the Beacon. Band members Jon Herington on guitar, drummer Keith Carlock, bassist Freddie Washingston, and keyboardist Jim Beard, along with a four-piece horn section and back-up singers, will play alongside Fagen.

This May, Steely Dan will join the Doobie Brothers in a cross-country tour, ending three months before their pre-residency.

Tickets for the residency go on sale this Friday, March 30 at 10 a.m.
