The heavy-metal rockers behind Bullet For My Valentine are dropping their sixth studio album, Gravity, this fall, and have just announced two legs of the tour across Europe and North America.

This weekend marks the metalcore band’s first round of tour dates, kicking-off at Jacksonville’s Welcome To Rockville show in Florida. Next, they will cross most of the East Coast with opening acts Trivium and Toothgrinder before making stops in Europe, hitting the UK, Finland, Netherlands, and more. The first part of their tour will wrap up at Tokyo’s Summersonic Festival in Japan on August 19.

In-between these dates, and the previously-announced shows in Europe, is the U.S. ‘Gravity Tour.’ On September 13, the band will hit the states, starting off in Kansas City, Missouri, and will make stops in big cities like Boston, New York, Los Angeles, and Cleveland. Las Vegas, Nevada is the last date scheduled on October 16 before Bullet For My Valentine heads to Germany. While abroad, they will be joined by Of Mice & Men.

Gravity is set to drop on June 29 via Search And Destroy/Spinefarm Records. Lead vocalist Matt Tuck explained that with this album, he took a different songwriting approach, compared to their 2015 record, Venom.

“I think initially it’s going to take a lot of people by surprise by the way it sounds and the instrumentation we’ve incorporated into it this time,” Tuck told Loudersound. “But I think as soon as the dust settles and people get to live with it… it’s a corker. It rocks… it sounds incredible. It sonically sounds better than anything we’ve ever done.”

So far, singles “Over It” and “Piece Of Me” have been released. The rockers are best-known for 2006 record, Posion, which features their hit single “Tears Don’t Fall,” as well as “All These Things I Hate (Revolve Around Me).” Other notable tracks include the 2012 song “Your Betrayal” of Fever, and their most recent 2015 song, “You Want a Battle? (Here’s a War,” from Venom.
