The hard rockers of System of a Down have revealed five tour dates on the U.S. west coast for the first time in three years.

After kicking-off the tour on October 13 in San Bernardino, California with rockers of Incubus, the band will cross the state to Sacramento to headline Aftershock music festival. Then, they will stop in Pheonix, Arizona, and head to So Cal for a show in San Diego.  The slew of dates wraps up on October 19 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Bandmates Serj Tankian, Daron Malakian, Shavo Odadjian, and John Dolmayan will be joined by the Texas post-hardcore band At The Drive-In and extreme-metal Ohio based group Skeleton Witch at shows in Pheonix, San Diego, and Las Vegas.

The dates were announced in a series of pictures on Twitter, starting at an innocent beach party, and turning into an industrial/military-themed scene. The final picture was captioned “See You this fall,” and sent fans into a craze of excitement.

SOAD has kept quiet over the past few years. The California natives are best known for their hit song “Chop Suey!” off of the 2001 album, Toxicity; they haven’t released new music since their 2005 record, Hypnotize/Mezmerize. After a brief break-up period, the band reunited in 2010. Although there hasn’t been an official announcement yet, fans are hopeful that new music is on the horizon. Until then, the 13-year wait continues.
