The alt-rock group Paramore will hold voter registration drives at their concerts throughout the U.S. this summer to encourage young fans to vote in the midterm elections this November.

Hayley Williams and her crew partnered with the non-partisan organization HeadCount, which works with musicians to help promote fans’ participation in democracy.

“We’re partnering with HeadCount to give people a chance to register to vote before midterm elections,” Williams said. “They’ll be at the shows all summer and we’d like to encourage young people coming out to take this chance to make their presence known and their convictions noted.”

HeadCount will also be present at a handful of other artists’ shows this summer, including Dave Matthews Band, Jack Johnson, G-Eazy, and David Byrne, along with more than 40 music festivals like Lollapalooza and Warped Tour. With over 20,000 volunteers registering voters at 25 events each week, the organization hopes to increase the number of young voters during the election — less than half of eligible voters under the age of 30 voted in the 2016 Presidential Election, according to the US census bureau.

Preceding Paramore’s After Laughter Summer Tour, the band will make an appearance at Tennesee’s Bonnaroo Festival next Friday, June 8. The summer tour will make 23 stops across the country, kicking-off on June 12 in St. Augustine, Florida, and ending in Morrison, Colorado on July 24. Throughout the trek, they will be joined by the California indie-rock act Foster The People.

Paramore will be touring in support of their latest LP, After Laughter. Their fifth studio effort was incredibly different than their previous work sound-wise. The record delves into dark lyrics revolving around anxiety and depression, covered by ’80s-style pop tunes. Foster The People will be supporting their third record, Sacred Hearts Club, which was released last year.
