Smashing Pumpkins will celebrate their 30th anniversary this Thursday in New Jersey while on their massive reunion tour, and will recruit some familiar faces for the show.

Billy Corgan, James Iha, and Jimmy Chamberlin will be joined by special guests over the course of the night, including Courtney Love, Deftones frontman Chino Moreno, Killers members Dave Keuning and Mark Stoermer, and former New Order bassist Peter Hook. AFI’s Davey Havok and Sugar Ray singer Mark McGrath are also among the night’s surprise appearances, with more yet to be announced. The show, set to take place in Holmdel, New Jersey, will include support from Metric.

Currently, the rock group is on their ‘Shiny And Oh So Bright Tour,’ which kicked-off earlier this month in Glendale, Arizona. The New Jersey show on August 2 will take place at PNC Bank Arts Center, and is followed by shows in cities like Pittsburgh, Detroit, and Chicago. Early September, the trek will wrap-up in Boise, Idaho.

Throughout the cross-country run, the group are playing songs that “celebrate songs from their first 5 albums from Gish to Machina,” playing music exclusively from those albums, a press release states.
