Ticket Summit, the leading conference and trade show for ticketing and live entertainment executives, starts today and runs through Wednesday, July 18 at its new home at Caesars Palace Las Vegas!
The festivities kick-off this afternoon at 4 p.m. Pacific with the Networking Cocktail Party sponsored by Event Tickets Center. Mingle with attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, and speakers.
Tomorrow, start the day with continental breakfast at 8:30 a.m., followed by a full day of sessions, workshops, and the keynote panel, Worldwide Trends in Live Events, featuring leaders from AXS, Elevate Sports Ventures, Legends, and Ticketmaster. Panel sessions include Online Marketing: Improve Your Brand, Managing Your Inventory, The Future of the Secondary Market: A Broker’s Perspective, Presented by Broker Genius, and Inside College Sports. Tuesday’s workshops will cover topics pertaining to small business owners, such as insurance, legal concerns, strategic planning, and mergers & acquisitions. The Coalition for Ticket Fairness will also hold an annual forum, open to any who are interested in their mission.
On Wednesday, after continental breakfast, panels include Legislative Issues in the Ticketing Industry, featuring a call from Congressman Bill Pascrell, NJ-9th, Combating Fraud, Managing a Growing Brokerage, and Ticketmaster’s Innovative Technology & Tools: Engineered to Help You Succeed in a Digital Ticketing World. Workshops will cover Focusing on What Matters for Your Success and Legal Concerns for Ticket Brokers. Mike Lorenc, Head of Industry—Ticketing, Sports & Live Events at Google, will also discuss The Google Approach to Ticketing.
The conference will wrap up on with the keynote panel The Ticketing Industry. On this panel, join leaders of the major exchanges for a discussion about trends in the industry and opportunities available to brokers. Keynote panelists include Curtis Cheng, CEO, DTI Management; Russ D’Souza, Founder and President, SeatGeek; Michael Katz, Sr. Director, Head of Supply North American, StubHub; Larry Plawsky, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Ticketmaster Resale; and Don Vaccaro, Founder and Chairman, TicketNetwork.
