The pop-punkers of Waterparks have announced a North American headlining tour later this year in support of their latest LP, Entertainment.
Currently, the group is supporting Sum 41 in Europe, with upcoming shows in Denmark, Italy, and Czech Republic. After playing a few gigs, as well as UK’s Reeding and Leeds festival, they will head back to the U.S. Their headlining trek will kick-off on November 2 in Lake Park, Florida and will make stops in cities like Hartford, Richmond, Denver, Sacramento, San Antonio, and Reno. Houston, Texas will close out the run on December 1. They will be joined by I Don’t Know How But They Found Me, Super Whatevr, and NG.
Earlier this year, Waterparks released Entertainment, their second full-length record following 2016’s Double Dare. The LP includes the hit single “Blonde,” as well as tracks “Lucky People” and “Peach (Lobotomy).” The band is best-known for the 2016 single “Stupid for You,” and for making appearances at both Warped Tour and on All Time Low’s Last Young Renegades tour.
“Tina-motherfucking-Fey once said, “Everything that’s good comes from honesty’,” lead singer and guitarist Awsten Knight said in a statement. “When you’re being that open, others connect. We’re not vague and subtle in our songs. I want everything to feel colorful and real. This band embodies that idea.”
