Live Nation’s Ticketmaster division announced the appointment of Tawn Albright as Executive Vice President.

Albright will be tasked with overseeing the growth and expansion of Ticketmaster’s specialized platforms including TicketWeb, which focuses on ticketing clubs and small venues, and Universe, Ticketmaster’s DIY ticketing platform.

Included under the umbrella of specialized ticketing are services for independent music clubs, attractions and branded events, fairs and festivals, arts and cultural events, organized DIY events, and e-sports.

Based in Nashville, Tennessee, Albright will report directly to Jared Smith, President of Ticketmaster.

Albright joins Ticketmaster from Leaf Group, formerly known as Demand Media, which focuses on developing digital content.

Prior to Leaf Group, Albright was co-founder and CEO of the digital agency Rockhouse Partners, which was an early pioneer in digital ticketing. The company was acquired by eTix in 2014.

Tawn previously held a corporate development post with Ticketmaster and held similar roles with companies including Cox Communications and The Coca-Cola Company.
