Popstar Justin Timberlake had to postpone several dates on his Man of the Woods Tour due to bruised vocal cords, and now, he has called-off all the remaining shows in December.

Over the past few weeks, he’s been unable to talk and was forced to reschedule shows in Tacoma, Denver, Buffalo, Los Angeles, New York City, Phoenix, and Oakland. Fans were anxiously awaiting news of his upcoming shows this month, and last night the singer took to Instagram to confirm that all December dates will have to be rescheduled due to doctors orders.

“Hey guys, I’m sure you have heard that I’ve had to postpone several tour dates due to bruised vocal cords,” he said in the post. “My vocal cords are healing, but they are not all the way back to normal, so my doctors want me to continue to rest my voice. They have asked me to hold off on singing until next month. I’m really sorry, I want to be back on the stage and I am doing all I can to get there quickly. Thank you for understanding — I see all of your posts and I appreciate the support and the love. I look forward to coming back stronger than I was before. More to come on the rescheduled dates.”

The upcoming shows that had to be rescheduled were set to take place in Omaha, Kansas City, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Philadelphia, Buffalo, and Uncasville. All rescheduled shows will now take place throughout February, March, and April while the tour will officially continue as scheduled after the holidays on January 4, 2019 in Washington, D.C.

Timberlake is touring in support of his fourth studio album, Man of the Woods. The LP, which includes singles “Filthy,” “Supplies,” and “Say Something,” follows 2013’s The 20/20 Experience.
