K-Pop has been on the rise in the U.S. as acts like the boyband BTS and girl group BLACKPINK are breaking records. Now, another group, NCT 127 has emerged, with news of new music and an upcoming tour.
The band just released the Japanese EP Awaken, and are set to drop a follow-up release next month via Capital Music Group entitled We Are Superhuman. Earlier this week, the group previewed the new music on Good Morning America by performing the lead single of the forthcoming record “Superhuman” and their hit track “Cherry Bomb.”
The new music comes after NCT 127’s 2018 debut record Regular-Irregular and the repackage Regulate – their first album following three “mini-albums,” or EPs. They are best-known for tracks “Simon Says,” “Let’s Shut Up and Dance,” “Cherry Bomb,” and “Fire Truck.”
Neo City – The Origin Tour will kick-off next Wednesday, April 24 in New Jersey, followed by gigs in cities like Miami, Houston, and San Jose. Toronto and Vancouver will wrap-up the run on May 17 and 19.
