The Eagles are performing their hit record Hotel California in full during a concert for the first time ever at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena this September.
Back in 2016, the band split up after Glenn Frey passed away, but a year after, they reunited with a different touring lineup. The group now consists of founding member Don Henley, long-standing bandmates Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit, as well as Eagles’ touring bandmates Deacon Frey and Vince Gill. This year, they’ll surpass expectations with a special two-night stint in Las Vegas on September 27 and 28.
Hotel California, which has been named as the No. 3 best-selling record of all time, was released in 1976. Over their 50-year career, the group has never played the album at a show in-full before. Fans can expect to hear hits like the title track, “Life In The Fast Lane,” and “New Kid In Town,” as well as songs that haven’t been played live in years like “Pretty Maids All in a Row” and “Victim Of Love.” They’ll also play a variety of their greatest hits.
The pair of Las Vegas shows will be their only performances in the U.S. this year; throughout the summer months, The Eagles will make appearances across Europe in cities like Amsterdam, Liverpool, and Dublin.
