The B-52’s, best-known for the ’80s tune “Love Shack,” are heading out on a worldwide tour in honor of their 40-year anniversary this summer.

Currently, the band is on tour making stops throughout the UK this weekend and next week before heading to France on July 5. From there, they’ll head to the states late July, playing cities like Portland, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Austin, New Orleans, Grand Rapids, and Detroit. Along the way, the group will perform at Colorado’s Fiddler’s Green Amphitheater, Seattle’s BECU ZooTunes Concert Series, San Diego’s Bayside Summer Nights series, and New York City’s Summerstage Series before wrapping-up in Mexico City at the Festival Corona Capital on November 16.

“In 2018, The B-52’s began their 40th anniversary celebration in style, co-headlining a massively successful American tour with Culture Club and Thompson Twins, taking over venues across the country,” a statement read ahead of the new dates. More shows are set to be added in the coming weeks.

Today, which marks a day after Cosmic Things‘ 30-year anniversary, the band released Cosmic Thing: 30th Anniversary Edition. The record includes a newly remastered version of the original album, along with a booklet from journalist and author T. Cole, song lyrics, and unseen photos of the band from that time period.

During the group’s prime years, they scored spots on the top charts with “Love Shack,” “Roam,” and “Rock Lobster,” proving to be a staple new-wave group during the ’70s and ’80s.
