Festicket, the UK’s festival travel platform, has announced a partnership with Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival to reach festivalgoers in Europe and the UK.

Coachella, the largest music festival in the U.S. which continues to impress fans with their A-list lineup each year, is set to take place from April 10 to 12 and 17 to 19 in 2020. With Festicket, fans across Europe can securely purchase tickets to the legendary festival at the Empire Polo Club in the Southern California desert.

Festicket, which offers support in eight different languages, promotes a wide range of ticket options. The company is working with Coachella to “continue to offer a range of beautiful places that will appeal to music fans looking for unforgettable international festival appearances.” During the advance sale last month, Festicket packages sold to fans in 49 different countries worldwide.

The company was originally co-founded by Zack Sabban and Jonathan Younes back in 2012 when Sabban wanted to organize a trip to the festival from Europe with a group of friends. He believes Coachella has built an “unparalleled reputation worldwide as the ultimate festival appearance,” and there has been a significant increase in interest from fans outside the U.S. over the past few years.

“Iconic performances over the years – like Beyonce’s Homecoming in 2018, Tupac joining by hologram in 2012, and Daft Punk’s seminal light show in 2007 – have contributed to the image of Coachella as a bucket list-type festival, but I also think it has a lot to do with people wanting to travel somewhere beautiful and experience something unforgettable,” Sabban said in a press release.

“We created Festicket to help people plan their trips to destination festivals exactly like Coachella, so it’s amazing to be extending our relationship with the Coachella team at Goldenvoice,” he continued. “Our work so far with Coachella has had an amazing response so far from our international community of festival fans. Now we’ll be focusing on making the experience the best it can be for every fan – from discovery, to booking, to accommodation, to the event itself.”

Aside from Coachella, Festicket offers tickets to over 2,000 major festivals worldwide, including Belgium’s Tomorrowland, Medusa Festival in Spain, Into The Woods Festival in Netherlands, and Lollapalooza Paris, among others. It has offices in San Francisco, Amsterdam, Berlin, Porto, and Nantes, along with headquarters in London.
