Indie artist Hobo Johnson will hit the road later this year in support of his forthcoming record.
This summer, he’ll appear at Chicago’s Bottom Lounge and Lollapalooza, as well as the UK’s Reading and Leeds Festivals. Then, he’ll head to North America to kick-off shows in Seattle on October 9. From there, he’ll visit cities like Portland, Phoenix, San Antonio, Charlotte, and Toronto. Along the way, he will make stops at venues like New York City’s Playstation Theater, Boston’s House of Blues, and Indianapolis’ Egyptian Room before wrapping-up in Sacramento, California’s Ace of Spades.
Johnson has garnered attention for his music that crosses between rap and poetry like tracks “Peach Scone” and “Crave Coeur 1.” His sophomore record, The Fall of Hobo Johnson, is due September 13 via Reprise Records. The LP will follow 2017’s The Rise of Hobo Johnson and will feature newly released singles “Uglykid” featuring Elohim and “Typical Story.”
