North Carolina A&T State University’s annual homecoming concert, which is dubbed the Greatest Homecoming on Earth, will feature performances from hip-hop stars 21 Savage and Yo Gotti this year.
The show is set to take place on October 26 at the Greensboro Coliseum at 7:30 p.m. following the team’s game against Howard University earlier in the day. During the concert, rising acts like Blac Youngsta, Stunna 4 Vegas, and a surprise guest will take the stage. 21 Savage, who is currently touring in support of 2018’s i am > i was, garnered attention with tracks ” a lot,” “monster,” and “can’t leave without it.” Yo Gotti, who is best-known for hits like “Rake It Up” with Nicki Minaj and “Down in the DM,” just released tracks “Put a Date On It” with Lil Baby and “Pose” with Lil Uzi Vert this year.
The concert is a part of several homecoming events which will run from October 20 to 27, which features events like the Aggie Homecoming Step Show with the campus’ fraternitites and sororities, the Aggie Homecoming Gospel Show with performances from Gospel Music Hall of Fame inductees, and the Aggieland 29N Homecoming Comedy Show, set to feature some cast members from MTV’s “Wild ‘N Out.”
A&T’s new season is right around the corner; they’ll take on Elon this weekend, followed by games against Duke, Charleston So, Del State, Norfolk State, and Florida A&M through October. After the homecoming game, the team will head to South Carolina State before finishing out the regular season against Morgan State, B-CU, and NC Central.
