The indie-rock band Tame Impala is not quite done touring the U.S. yet and have extended their tour this fall.
Currently, the group, fronted by Kevin Parker, is set to appear at a handful of festivals this summer. Their next show is at Germany’s Parkbuhne Wuhlheide, followed by Norway’s Oya Fest, Flow Festival in Finland, Belgium’s Pukkelpop, La Route Du Rock in France, and Lowlands Festival in the Netherlands. Then, they’ll appear in New York City for a two-day gig at Madison Square Garden, followed by shows in Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and Irving, Texas.
Early October, Tame Impala will headline Austin City Limits festival. After the first weekend, they’ll head to Colorado for a two-night stint at Denver’s Mission Ballroom and play a gig at Houston’s White Oak before wrapping-up at the second weekend of the festival on October 11.
Parker and his touring band will hit the road in support of new music, which is reportedly on the way. Earlier this year, he dropped the singles “Borderline” and “Patience,” his first release since 2015’s Currents. His last LP is best-known for smash-hit tracks like “The Less I Know The Better” and “Let It Happen.” Since the new music, Tame Impala has headlined Coachella, definitely helping the group garner attention in the industry.
