The alt-rock group The Get Up Kids, who just returned this past spring with their first album in eight years, are plotting a headlining trek this fall.

The outing will kick-off in November following a round of shows in Australia and Japan. They’ll make stops in Denver, Portland, Fresno, Dallas, and Memphis, hitting venues along the way  like Rex Theater in Pittsburgh, Los Angeles’ Echoplex, Seattle’s The Crocodile and The Great American Music Hall in San Francisco before wrapping-up in Detroit at Loving Touch mid-December. Kevin Devine and The Whiffs will provide support during the first half of the tour, with another supporting act for the leg’s second half to be announced soon.

Problems, the group’s first album in eight years, dropped in May and features tracks “The Problem Is Me” and “Satellite.” They’ve already toured in support of the record earlier this year with Cloud Nothings and were seen performing with Taking Back Sunday. They’re also set to play Chicago’s Riot Fest this weekend.
