Ticketmaster announced that it has renewed its partnership with MetLife Stadium and will serve as the official ticketing partner for all events.

The renewed partnership means that Ticketmaster will provide primary and secondary tickets for the New York Jets and New York Giants’ home games, as well as other live events at MetLife Stadium. Ticketmaster Presence, the company’s “next generation digital ticketing and venue access control platform,” will provide fans with faster entry into the stadium, fraud protection, and “an unmatched personalized experience for football and live event fans.” Additionally, the Jets and Giants will use Presence’s latest enhancement SafeTix – the widely recognized technology with rotating barcodes that refreshes every 15 seconds.

Ron VanDeVeen, MetLife Stadium’s President and CEO said in a release that Ticketmaster has been “an incredible partner since our opening in 2010” and the stadium is excited to partner with the ticketing company once again.

“From Giants and Jets home games to the biggest concerts in North America, MetLife Stadium is consistency delivering the most exciting live events,” VanDeVeen said. “Now, thanks to Ticketmaster’s digital ticketing technology, these events will become even more enjoyable, as fans will have peace of mind that their ticket is real, thanks to Ticketmaster SafeTix eliminating fraud.”

MetLife Stadium, which opened back in 2010, has hosted several major events like Super Bowl XLVIII, Wrestlemania 29 and 35, and the International Champions Cup. Additionally, it’s been a host for sold-out concerts from A-list performers Taylor Swift, Kenny Chesney, Eminem and Rihanna, Beyonce, U2, and Bruce Springsteen. Clay Luther, the Co-Head of Sports for Ticketmaster North America, even described the stadium as “one of the greatest venues in the world today.”

“With presence of SafeTix, NFL fans will now see a frictionless experience combined with a never-before-seen level of ticket security due to this innovative technology that is effectively eliminating fraud,” Luther said. “It’s that kind of forward thinking that makes MetLife Stadium such an appealing space for the biggest artists and the best live events.”

MetLife will close out 2019 with New York Jets games against the Oakland Raiders, Miami Dolphins, and Pittsburgh Steelers, as well as New York Giants games against the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles. Early next year, the New York Guardians will take on the Tampa Bay Vipers, Los Angeles Wildcats, St. Louis Battlehawks, and DC Defenders. Chesney is also slated to perform next August on his 2020 Chillaxification Tour.
