The rockers of Foo Fighters will commemorate their 25th anniversary this spring by revisiting stops from their 1995 tour.
The brief outing will kick-off in Phoenix, Arizona at the Talking Stick Resort Arena, followed by gigs in Albuquerque, Oklahoma City, Wichita, and Knoxville. They’ll make stops along the way at the Resch Center in Green Bay, Grand Rapids’ Van Andel Arena, Cincinnati’s Heritage Bank Center, and the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland before wrapping-up in Hamilton, Ontario at the FirstOntario Centre.
Following the U.S. tour, the group will play a handful of festivals this summer including New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Boston Calling, I-Days in Milan, France’s Festival de Nimes, Rock In Rio Lisbon, and Montreal’s Osheaga. The band last released Concrete and Gold in 2017; the album soared to the No. 1 spot across the world, garnering attention with “Run,” “The Sky Is A Neighborhood,” and “The Line.” The LP follows 2014’s Sonic Highways and Wasting Light from 2011.
Fans can expect to hear Foo Fighters’ greatest hits during the trek, including the smash-hit “Everlong” from the band’s sophomore record The Colour And The Shape in 1997, as well as 2007’s “The Pretender” from Echos, Silence, Patience, & Grace and “Best Of You” from 2005’s In Your Honor. Their debut self-titled record, released in 1995, is best-known for singles “This Is a Call,” “I’ll Stick Around,” “For All The Cows,” and “Big Me.”
Presale for the tour kicks-off today at 12 p.m. EST for those on Foo Fighters’ mailing list.
