The rockers of The Black Crowes have revealed a special, intimate tour ahead of their reunion trek later this year.

Chris and Rich Robinson will embark on a brief acoustic outing later this month where they’ll play stripped-down versions of some of their classic hits. The run will hit 11 cities, kicking things off in London at OMEARA on February 12 and Amsterdam on the 15th. From there, the duo will head overseas for gigs in Boston, Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Nashville, making stops at venues like Lincoln Hall in Chicago, Antone’s Nightclub in Austin, Denver’s Ophelia’s Electric Soapbox, and Portland’s Doug Fir Lounge before wrapping-up in San Francisco at The Chapel.

During the intimate shows, Chris and Rich will be joined by a touring lineup, including guitarist Isiah Mitchell of Earthless, keyboardist Joel Robinow, drummer Raj Ojha of Once and Future Band, and session bassist Tim LeFebvre. During part of the outing, longtime drummer Steve Gorman will make an appearance.

The acoustic shows are ahead of The Black Cowes’ previously-announced summer tour, which will hit 50 shows throughout 2020 in support of the band’s 30th anniversary of their smash-hit record Shake Your Money Maker. The tour will be the Robinson brothers’ first outing together in six years.
