James Taylor was set to hit the road this summer with Jackson Brown, however, the trek has been rescheduled to 2021 amid coronavirus concerns.

The rock icon revealed the news earlier last month, and now, he shared the rescheduled dates. The dates mirror this year’s postponed shows, kicking-off on May 15, 2021 and wrap-up on July 10, just like this year’s original dates. Along the way, Taylor will stop in Ft. Worth, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, Chicago, and Pittsburgh, playing venues like Louisville’s KFC Yum! Center, Camden’s BB&T Center, and the Northwell Health at Jones Beach in Wantagh.

“Disappointing as it is to have to reschedule these shows, our first tour together, (we) look forward with intense excitement to next spring when, hopefully, we’ll finally get to set this thing in motion,” Taylor and Browne said in a joint statement. “We were hoping to reschedule the tour a bit sooner but the experts we consulted have advised waiting for a full year. We thank you all for your patience and are really encouraged by the majority of you who are holding on to your tickets. We WILL honor them.”

Taylor noted that similar announcements regarding the Fenway Park gig with Brandi Carlile and the Canadian tour with Bonnie Raitt will be revealed soon. Previously purchased tickets will be honored for all of the rescheduled dates, though those unable to attend the new show can reach out to their point of purchase to receive a refund. If fans already reached out to their POP and didn’t hear back, Taylor encourages them to contact his team via his website.
