Star of Funny Girl Lea Michele and 2022 Tony Award-winner Myles Frost have announced this year’s Tony Awards nominations in 26 competitive categories. The nominees for the best of the 2022-23 theater season were selected by an independent committee of 40 theatre professionals appointed by the Tony Awards Administration Committee.

Celebrating its 76th anniversary, the Tony Awards (Antoinette Perry “Tony” Awards) will be presented to winners at the ceremony scheduled on June 11, which will be held at the historic United Palace in Washington Heights, in New York City. It will air live on Sunday, June 11, 2023 from 08.00-11.00 PM, ET/05.00-8.00 PM, PT on the CBS Television Network, and streaming live and on demand on Paramount+. Dominating the list, Some Like It Hot picked up the 13 nominations. It was followed by & Juliet, New York, New York, and Shucked with 9 nominations. Kimberly Akimbo and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street both scored 8 nominations.
