Billy Joel and Sting are teaming-up for a pair of one-night-shows in Tampa and San Diego next year.

The first show is set to take place at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium on February 24, followed by a gig at San Diego’s Petco Park on April 13. The shows come amid Joel’s final performances on his farewell trek at New York City’s Madison Square Garden and Sting’s ongoing 2023 world tour.

While the pair was active separately in the music scene throughout the ’80s, this will mark their first co-headlining shows together. Joel, known as The Piano Man, garnered attention with fan-favorite tracks “Uptown Girl,” “Vienna,” and Moving Out,” and is one of the best-selling artists in the world. Hailing from the Bronx, Joel went on to sell over 160 million records worldwide as a solo artist.

Sting, the English musician who rose to fame with The Police during the late ’70s and ’80s, launched a successful solo career, also scoring a spot as one of the world’s best-selling musicians with over 100 million records sold. He is best-known for hits like “Every Breath You Take,” “When We Dance,” and “Let Your Soul be Your Pilot.”
