Aussie Band Jet Reveals North American Tour Dates

Australian rock band Jet will head out for a 14-date tour across North America this summer, where they’ll be joined by the English garage rockers Band of Skulls.

“North America, U.S., we’re excited to announce that we will be heading your way this May/June!” the band posted on their Instagram account. “We’re thrilled to be playing some shows on the East Coast with Band of Skulls.”

The tour will kick-off with two dates in Toronto and Montreal on May 27 and 28, respectively, before making stops stateside in cities like New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Atlanta, and Chicago. They’ll wrap-up in Minneapolis at First Avenue on June 15.

Since their inception in 2001, the band separated and reformed twice. They last reunited in 2023 before being inducted into the ARIA (Australian Recording Industry Association) Hall of Fame in November that year.

Jet has released three studio albums to-date: Get Born (2003), Shine On (2006), and Shaka Rock (2009), the former of which includes their breakthrough hit “Are You Gonna Be My Girl” that reached the top 20 in Australia and U.K. and top 30 in the U.S.

Last year, they re-issued their debut album Get Born on vinyl to celebrate its 21st anniversary. They also performed a five-date run in the U.S. for the first time in over 14 years this past fall in support of that celebration where they shared their latest song “Hurry Hurry” released in 2024 with the audience.
