The Los Angeles Rams were set to host the Minnesota Vikings for the NFL Wild Card Round playoff game Monday night, however, amid the devastating wildfires in California, the game was moved to Glendale, Arizona’s State Farm Stadium. Tickets went on sale for the relocated match, and some ticket tripled in price.
Tickets went on sale Friday, and Rams season ticket members had first access through a presale. According to ESPN NFL Nation’s Sarah Barshop, 25,000 tickets were purchased within the first hour of the presale. Then, tickets were available to Cardinals season ticket holders, as well as Rams single-game buyers ahead of a general sale.

Many fans took to social media to express their frustrations over ticket prices, especially amid the wildfires and unexpected move. People questioned how the prices could change so drastically and claimed the teams were “taking advantage” of the fires in Los Angeles.
So to take advantage of the fires in LA @AZCardinals @StateFarmStdm is now quadrupling the ticket prices for the Rams/Vikings game making it impossible for people who had tickets to now go. That’s WRONG!

No way tickets are 300$ plus for lower level seats for the Rams vs Vikings game here in Az… Tickets for sporting events are crazy expensive!

minimum ticket price $146 for rams vikes on a monday night in arizona. what is going on.

So I paid for tickets, and now I have to pay for new tickets before I’m even refunded for the tickets I already paid for?🤔
How about this: the Rams cover the cost of tickets so we can afford the travel costs which right now are about $600-700 per person for flights? I have 8…

Additionally, many were confused with the decision to allow Cardinals season ticket holders to buy presale tickets instead of Vikings season ticket holders.
This seems bass-ackwards. Vikings/Rams should have had 1st priority window. Then Cards. Then general public.

Wtf. Giving Cardinals fans a chance to take advantage of a lot of Rams fans who are already going through it.

That’s so wrong. Cardinals fans are flipping those tickets. Vikings fans got screwed big time ☠️☠️

Ridculous for Cards season ticket holders to get a grab before Vikings fans. I tried as soon as GA was available and there weren’t many seats left from NFL. After 15 mins, a flood of resale tics. @Vikings

Why weren’t Vikings season ticket holders offered the same courtesy since it is a neutral sight.

Monday night’s game is set to kick-off at 8 p.m. According to Rams Team President Kevin Demoff, the team will have “at least 15 buses and will have 750 spots available to go back and forth” from Monday night’s game for season ticket holders.’
While firefighters have slowed the progress of the fires over the weekend, the 14,000-acre Eaton fire is only 33% contained as of Monday morning, while the Palisades fire — covering 23,700 acres — is 14% contained. According to the New York Times, the Eaton fire has killed 16 people, making it one of the deadliest fires in California’s history. At least eight people have died in the Palisades blaze, while 16 people were reported missing in the areas of the two fires.
At this time, officials have warned that the fatalities will likely rise, though there is a hope of relief ahead; the National Weather Service reported that wind speeds are expected to drop on Thursday. Los Angeles fire chief Kristin M. Crowley noted that “we are not in the clear as of yet” and “we must not let our guard down.”
