AEG Live will launch a new music and arts festival at ArtsPark in Hollywood, FL, in September to feature alternative and reggae music. The one-day Dubfest music festival will celebrate the Florida and California culture centered around surfing, skating and the tranquil vibe of the ocean.

ArtsPark was recently renovated to incorporate a brand new main stage area and technological advancements including musical baobab trees and jumping water fountains. Talent and tickets for the event have yet to be announced.

“I feel like South Florida has been waiting for an event like this for years — a festival that celebrates the beach, the ocean, surfing, skating and more all mixed into one,” said Jesse Stoll, AEG Live operations coordinator, in a statement. “We are really looking to build a true quality lifestyle event that becomes a destination in Florida and beyond.”

“Dubfest is a festival that speaks to the indigenous culture of Florida,” added John Valentino, executive vice president of AEG Live SE. “It’s a homegrown special event that will be embraced by those who love the lifestyle here.”
