After burning up the stage together at the Grammy Awards, Bruno Mars and Janelle Monáe have announced that they’re taking their show on the road. The retro-pop R&B musicians are combining forces this spring for a co-headlining tour of North America.

The Hooligans in Wondaland Tour launches May 4 at Roseland Ballroom in New York, NY, and concludes more than a month later on June 15 at Comerica Theatre in Phoenix, AZ. Two dozen concerts have been confirmed for the venture, which also features support from Plan B (May 4-27) and Mayer Hawthorne & The County (May 28-June 5).

The Mars-Monáe routing includes U.S. performances on May 7 at Agganis Arena in Boston, MA; May 18 at Reliant Arena in Houston, TX; May 27 at Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, IL; June 2 at the WaMu Theater in Seattle, WA; and June 12 at Gibson Amphitheater in Universal City, CA.

At least two stops are planned for Canada, as well: May 22 at the Colosseum in Windsor, ON, and June 3 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC.

Public onsales start February 26. Ticketmaster.com lists pre-fee ticket prices between $33 and $37.50 in the tour’s U.S. markets — the sole exception being Milwaukee’s $45 face value. In Canada, ticket prices cover a wider range: C$28 to $C79 in Windsor, and C$35 to C$47 in Vancouver.

Though Mars’ career has followed a more mainstream trajectory, both artists received strong critical acclaim for their debut studio albums in 2010. Monáe dropped “The ArchAndroid” in May last year, debuting at No. 17 on the Billboard 200 and earning a Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary R&B Album.

Likewise, Mars released his debut, “Doo-Wops & Hooligans,” in October last year. The effort hit a first-week peak of No. 3 on the Billboard 200, and the lead single “Just the Way You Are” earned Mars the Grammy Award for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.
