“This is what we imagined when we came up with the idea of Crüe Fest last summer. Putting together the most kick ass bands on one bill for a day of rock,” said Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx in a statement. “All of the bands on this tour complement the others — musically, theatrically and passionately.”

Charm City Devils’ John Allen added, “We are so lucky that Nikki Sixx has taken Charm City Devils under his wicked yet brilliant wing and is allowing us to share the same stage with this incredible bill just as our record, ‘Let’s Rock ‘n’ Roll,’ is hitting on Eleven Seven Music.”

At the tour lineup’s March 16 announcement and press conference at Fuse TV studio in New York City, the Crüe stopped lunch hour traffic arriving in a Dr. Feelgood era ambulance accompanied by scantily clad nurses.

The Crüe also debuted a new music video featuring members of all five Crüe Fest 2 bands performing the single “White Trash Circus.” During the announcement Mötley Crüe was joined on stage by Sully Erna of Godsmack, Tyler Connolly of Theory of a Deadman, Ryan McCombs of Drowning Pool and John Allen of Charm City Devils.

Last year’s inaugural festival toured 40 North American cities from early July through late August.
