Guns N’ Roses continues to extend the reach of its upcoming American tour. With almost weekly updates and additions so far this month, the U.S. leg of the band’s Chinese Democracy Tour now features nine concerts and counting.

Since last update, Axl Rose and crew have confirmed four more concerts for their calendar: October 31 at the Bi-Lo Center in Greenville, SC; November 2 at Philips Arena in Atlanta, GA; November 5 at Gexa Energy Pavilion in Dallas, TX; and November 19 at the Comcast Theatre in Hartford, CT.

The Hartford gig marks a new end-point for the whole venture, which is still scheduled to open October 28 with a previously announced event at Amway Center in Orlando, FL.

Public onsales open September 23 in Greenville, Atlanta and Hartford, and follow on September 24 in Dallas. Pre-fee ticket prices max out around $75 in each market, based on Ticketmaster.com listings. But the low end of face values varies across the markets — from $25 in Dallas up to $55 in Hartford, the only Northeastern market on the present routing.

The fall 2011 concerts mark GNR’s first U.S. concerts for the long-running Chinese Democracy Tour since 2006. The band has performed internationally on a semi-regular basis, and even completed a tour of Canada in early 2010. But, up until now, Axl and his new bandmates have largely steered clear of U.S. performances in recent years, aside from the occasional one-off.

Since the first concerts and onsales were announced earlier this month, GNR’s U.S. tour has blossomed from a brief jaunt into a full-fledged tour. With three or four dates added every few days and several gaps remaining in the calendar, there’s also plenty of potential for future tour growth, as well.
