It turns out that Janet Jackson will not reschedule her previously postponed concerts due to conflicts in her schedule, according to a post on her Web site. The seven affected cities include Montreal, QC; Boston, MA; Philadelphia, PA; Greensboro, NC; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Uncasville, CT; and Syracuse, NY.

Jackson wound up performing only two of her eight postponed shows. Her October 28 concert in Auburn Hills, MI, was rescheduled from September 27, and her November 1 show in New York City, which turned out to be the last concert on the tour, was rescheduled from October 16.

Tickets purchased through the Janet Fan Club presale for the cancelled shows will be automatically refunded. Other tickets will be refunded through point of purchase.

Jackson’s Rock Witchu Tour, the singer’s first tour in seven years, hit a snag with a slate of concert cancellations beginning September 29 in Montreal, when Jackson became ill with what was later diagnosed as migraine-associated vertigo that caused a two-week string of cancellations. Then her support act rapper LL Cool J pulled out of the tour citing “scheduling conflicts.”

Jackson launched her North American tour on September 10 in Vancouver, BC. Her older brother Jerome recently announced that she agreed to open for a Jackson Five reunion tour in 2009, but those plans are up in the air after Michael Jackson said he would not participate.
