Country trio Rascal Flatts is taking its tour plans up a notch in early 2011. The group is set to resume its latest Nothing Like This Tour with a new leg of U.S. concert dates.

The 20-city itinerary opens with a January 14 event at Sioux Falls Arena in Sioux Falls, SD. Concerts are currently booked through March 12, when the band will perform at Oklahoma City Arena in Oklahoma City, OK.

Along the way, Rascal Flatts has arena gigs slated for January 22 at Qwest Center in Omaha, NE; February 4 at New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, LA; February 26 at Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, NH; and March 6 at Sprint Center in Kansas City, MO.

The highlight of the tour calendar, though, is a two-night stand at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT. Rascal Flatts will command the casino arena’s stage during February 18-19 — currently the only multiple-night engagement inked for the crew’s 2011 trek.

Public ticket start November 20 in select markets, according to Rascal Flatts’ official Web site. Pricing details have not been announced yet, but opening acts have: Luke Bryan and Chris Young.

In addition to the group’s own tour plans, Rascal Flatts is also one of the acts scheduled to headline the 2011 Stagecoach Festival. Along with Kenny Chesney and Carrie Underwood, the trio will helm the two-day country music festival, booked for April 30 and May 1 at Empire Polo Field in Indio, CA.

The 2011 outing is the second leg for the band’s Nothing Like This Tour, which launched earlier this season and wrapped in October. That initial tour leg, in addition to early 2010 dates for the Unstoppable Tour, drew more than 650,000 fans in all, according to a press statement for the band.
