Since debuting in 2006, Taylor Swift has established herself not only as a leading country act, but as the one to beat in terms of concert ticket and album sales. The young star will have the chance to prove her market power again as she promotes her most recent chart-topping record, “Speak Now,” with an international tour in 2011.

The 19-country Speak Now World Tour launches in the Asia-Pacific region in February before moving on to Europe in March. But at the start of spring, Swift brings the Speak Now World Tour stateside with a 56-date, 43-city itinerary.

Swift’s North American calendar opens with a May 27-28 stand at an undisclosed venue in Omaha, NE, and concludes with an October 8 event at the new Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, TX. At the moment, Arlington is one of only a handful of cities on the 2011 itinerary with a confirmed venue.

The only other fully divulged concert plans are for June 11 at Ford Field in Detroit, MI; June 18 at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, PA; June 25 at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA; August 6 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, PA; August 23-24 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA; September 1-2 at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, CA; and September 24 at Arrowhead Stadium.

Swift also has numerous multiple-night engagements booked across the United States and Canada — such as Toronto (July 15-16), New York City (July 19-20), Chicago (August 9-10), and Vancouver (September 9-10). For the remainder of her 2011 calendar, the young star will stage her tour in a new city on an almost nightly basis.

Public ticket sales begin December 3 in Los Angeles and San Jose, and ticket prices for the tour will start at $25, according to Swift’s official Web site. Current listings on Ticketmaster.com show the high-end of ticket prices set at $79.50 for upcoming onsales.

In late October, Swift released her third studio album, “Speak Now,” which debuted atop the Billboard 200 with first-week sales of more than 1 million in the United States alone, according to the publication’s tally.

For her last studio release, 2008’s “Fearless,” Swift toured through most of 2009 and early 2010. Her 2009 Fearless Tour ran for about six months, while the 2010 tour leg continued for another three months.
