Due to overwhelming demand, Denver, CO-based alt-rockers The Fray have moved their March 24 show at Enmore Theatre in Sydney, Australia, to the larger Hordern Pavilion. After all 2,000 tickets sold in a day, the show was moved to the 5,500-capacity Hordern, which is a general admission and standing venue.

Tickets for the Enmore Theatre show will be valid for the Hordern Pavilion and ticket holders do not have to exchange their tickets. Additional tickets go on sale February 20.

The group’s new eponymous album debuts this week at No. 3 on the ARIA album chart, and single, “You Found Me,” holding strong at No. 1 on the singles chart. The Fray have established themselves as one of 2009’s must-see artists.

The Fray, best known for the song “How to Save a Life,” which charted in the top three of the Billboard Hot 100, is touring Australia and New Zealand on a five-city tour from March 17-26 with acoustic pop-rocker Secondhand Serenade opening.
