Jonas Brothers have been selling out dates across the country last for their highly anticipated Look Me In The Eyes Tour, according to the tour’s promoters. In Los Angeles, the record book was re-written at the Gibson Amphitheater where the band’s show sold out its Feb. 2 performance in two minutes, the fastest sellout in the venue’s 36 year history. The band immediately added two additional concerts: a second show on Feb. 2 as well as a Feb. 3 date. Ten more concerts were added to the tour, which seems to be the way the tour will roll out with a batch of new shows at one time.

The trio’s Look Me In The Eyes Tour is produced by Live Nation, which recently signed the act to a multi-year deal.

Demand to see the brothers, who toured with Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus for part of 2007, is so great that their Feb. 20 show at Northrop Auditorium in Minneapolis has been moved to the larger Target Center. In addition, Live Nation and some of the venues, in a move partially designed to avoid the type of criticism leveled at the Hannah Montana tour, have begun selling the first 20 rows only at the venue’s box office, not online.

The Jonas Brothers self-titled Hollywood Records album was co-written by the band and debuted at # 5 on the Billboard Top 200 Album chart. Their single “S.O.S.” shot straight to the top of iTunes, and the video was constantly on MTV’s TRL Countdown. The band is currently in the studio preparing for their much anticipated third album, which is slated for a July release.
